Our History

In 2004, after serving as a security specialist and coordinator for suspected child abuse reports, Michele Justice decided it was time to take what she had learned in her federal employment and give all that she knew to help protect children by starting a business that provides training and employee background screening services. 

In her close to 20 years of federal service, she held positions in the Federal government overseeing multi-million dollar programs, managing personnel and sub-contractors, and implementing and realizing the establishment of a newly created Federal security office. Personnel Security Consultants, Inc. was largely created through the teachings learned in ceremonies and the teachings passed down by the elders of Michele?s family.  

Through this original idea, thousands of community members have been trained and PSC has helped hundreds of communities protect their children, elders, and resources.

Our Team

The PSC team consists of experts in the field of employment background investigations, fingerprinting services, screening and suitability adjudications. Our staff is licensed through the New Mexico Licensing Board, credentialed with Fair Credit Reporting Act certification. We receive on-going training, sit on panels through the National Association of Professional Background Screeners and come from the communities we work to protect. We are proud of our 12 year proven track record.

Certifications

  • 100% woman, minority owned, certified small disadvantaged business with the owner being of Hispanic/Native American descent and an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation
  • Graduated from the 8(a) certification program through the U. S. Small Business Administration
  • Licensed and bonded through the State of New Mexico Private Investigator's Board
  • Maintain several Tribal licenses and Gaming Licenses
