Employee Investigation Program Overview

This training provides an understanding of the requirements identified under the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act and Indian Country Law Enforcement Regulations. The training session is designed to teach participants their oversight responsibilities as well as teach how to implement investigative and adjudication requirements in support of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. After completion of the training session, participants will have a working understanding of the background investigation process, the adjudication certification process, and how each process relates to Indian Tribes, Tribal Organizations, and federal agencies providing services to Indian children and communities. This training session also serves as a prerequisite for the Conducting Compliant Background Investigations training and the Adjudication Training Certification.

Depending on your learning style, this class will take 2 to 4 hours to complete. The cost is $250.00.

Conducting Compliant Background Investigations for Multi-Level Positions

This training focuses on the investigative standards identified under the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act and the Indian Country Law Enforcement Regulations. The training session is designed to teach participants their responsibilities as well as teach how to implement investigative requirements in support of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. The training concludes with a Final Test. After completion of the training session, participants will have a working understanding of the background investigation process and be able to conduct compliant employee background investigations on behalf of the Tribal Organizations and communities they serve. Recommended for Program Administrators, Background Investigators, Adjudicators, Human Resources Officers and staff responsible for multiple Tribal Programs and Departments. This training session also serves as a prerequisite for the Adjudication Training Certification.

Depending on your learning style, this class will take 4 to 6 hours to complete. The cost is $350.00.

Conducting Compliant Background Investigations for Child Care ONLY Positions

This training focuses on the investigative standards identified under the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act. The training session is designed to teach participants their responsibilities as well as teach how to implement investigative requirements in support of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. The training concludes with a Final Test. After completion of the training session, participants will have a working understanding of the background investigation process and be able to conduct compliant employee background investigations on behalf of the Tribal Organizations and communities they serve. Recommended for School Administrators, Background Investigators, Adjudicators, Business Managers, Human Resources Officers and staff responsible for child care type positions. This training session also serves as a prerequisite for the Adjudication Training Certification.

Depending on your learning style, this class will take 3 to 5 hours to complete. The cost is $350.00.

Conducting Compliant Background Investigations for Law Enforcement ONLY Positions

This training focuses on the investigative standards identified under the Indian Country Law Enforcement Regulations. The training session is designed to teach participants their responsibilities as well as teach how to implement investigative requirements in support of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. The training concludes with a Final Test. After completion of the training session, participants will have a working understanding of the background investigation process and be able to conduct compliant employee background investigations on behalf of the Tribal Law Enforcement Programs and communities they serve. Recommended for Public Safety Administrators, Chiefs of Police, Background Investigators, Adjudicators, Human Resources Officers and staff responsible for law enforcement programs. This training session also serves as a prerequisite for the Adjudication Training Certification.

Depending on your learning style, this class will take 4 to 6 hours to complete. The cost is $450.00.

Adjudication Certification Training Prerequisite

This training focuses on the adjudication standards identified under the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act and Indian Country Law Enforcement Regulations. The training sessions are designed to teach participants their responsibilities as well as teach how to implement the adjudication requirements in support of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. The training concludes with a Final Exam. IMPORTANT: After completion of the training sessions: An on-line portion and a group session portion; participants will have a working understanding of the adjudication process and be able to make compliant adjudication determinations on behalf of the Tribal Organizations and communities they serve. This training session is part one of two parts of the Adjudication Training Certification.

Depending on your learning style, this class will take 2 to 4 hours to complete. An additional 5 hours will be required for the group session. The cost is: $550.00.
