The Adjudication Certification Training is a day and a-half in-person training session and part of a series of three training sessions: Employee Investigation Program Overview and Conducting Compliant Background Investigations. The focus of the Adjudication Certification Training is conducting adjudications in compliance with all standards contained in the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act (Public Law 101-630) and Indian Country Law Enforcement Regulations (25 CFR 12). Adjudication principals, requirements of due process, and final determinations will be covered in detail as part of the training. The training will include case studies and practical exercises. Successful completion of a final exam will be required to receive a certificate. All attendees will be required to have completed the on-line Employee Investigation Program Overview and Conducting Compliant Background Investigations prior to taking this in-person course.
