FBI Channeling Services
A fingerprint background check is a vital part of a thorough background investigation. The Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division is a division of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation located in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The CJIS maintains a vast repository of fingerprints and biographical data obtained from fingerprint submissions, disposition reports, and other information submitted by authorized criminal justice agencies. Fingerprints vary from person to person. As a result, fingerprints are a very effective way of identifying individuals and establishing whether individuals have a criminal arrest/conviction or not.
Are you a Tribal Program in Need of Fingerprinting Services?
Tribes and Tribal organizations looking to meet the requirements of the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Protection Act must include an FBI Fingerprint Check as part of the overall screening for individuals who are hired to work with, have contact with, or have control over Indian children. Since our formation in 2004, we have provided services to over 250 different Native American Tribes and Tribal programs. We introduced fingerprinting as a service in 2007 as the liaison for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs between the FBI and all Federally Recognized Tribes and Tribal Programs. The liaison program ended in 2016.
In order to continue to provide FBI fingerprinting services to our Tribal Clients, we partnered with TRP Associates, an FBI Approved Fingerprint Channeler. As a Team we collectively are able to provide a full range of services related to fingerprinting. These services include electronic submission to the FBI, disposition research, and adjudication services.
